According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision occurred just before 8:00 p.m. along Interstate 35, roughly 10 miles south of Owatonna. Emergency responders were called to the scene following reports of a serious two-vehicle accident. Early findings indicate that both vehicles—a passenger car and a pickup truck—were traveling northbound when, under circumstances that remain unclear, they collided with tremendous force.
Officials confirmed that only the drivers were involved, and no passengers were present in either vehicle at the time of the crash.
